Revolver
Las Vegas, City of Sin
Las Vegas grew out of an impossible desert in the middle of Nevada, and in a few short years made its infancy a haven for outlaws, gamblers and madmen looking to build an empire from dust. By the time the city entered the 20th century, greed was part of its DNA,
but the city’s meteoric rise wasn’t just powered by gambling drunks and angel-faced girls – it was mob money that built the iconic Strip. From the 1940s to the 1970s, East Coast crime families poured resources into Vegas, turning it into their West Coast hub. Beneath the dazzling neon lights were hidden layers of corruption: underground money laundering, secretive arms deals, and violent clashes over territorial control.
Turn the clocks to the 1990s, and Las Vegas is at a turning point—a time when the city struggled to keep its old-school charm alive while creeping corporatization and federal crackdowns on organized crime threatened the
mob’s stronghold. Neon lights bathed the streets in a mesmerizing glow, but beneath the glamor, Vegas was rotting. The cocaine boom was fueling reckless violence, and casinos—many still mob-controlled—were under constant surveillance by government agencies. It’s a decade that’s ushered in change, and in it, factions battle in the shadows to keep the old Vegas dream alive. Revolver is
that dream!
